My name is Martin Silvertant. I'm a Dutch freelance graphic designer and illustrator. I have two graphic design businesses.
My first business is called "Ba'al Graphics". The focus is graphic design and esoteric illustrations for bands with a darker sound or theme. In this business I work under my pseudonym "Médan Savamhel". The business was founded in 2006.
My second business is called "Célente Design". The focus is graphic design for alternate music genres and more commercial clients. The business was founded in 2009.
I also run a small label called "Bibliotheca Apostolica Septem Coronatorum" (BASC). With BASC I concentrate on producing unique and high quality products for excellent Black Metal bands with strictly esoteric themes. The label was founded in 2007.
In my free time I like to research various esoteric subjects, particularly about angelology, demonology, eschatology, qabalah and qliphoth. I occasionally also write about these subjects. I started writing a book called "The Occult Labyrinth", though I have no idea it will ever be done.
The downfall of the DevilLegend I:Initially, the devil was Gods dark side. Malak represented Gods side that was focused on humanity. This deity in fact was Gods shadow, who was able to communicate with mortals, while the side of the sun was unable to do so due to its divinity. When the Hebrew religion developed, the shadow started operating individually more and more, which led to a separation of the two sides, creating a second deity, who became far more destructive. By the time the New Testament was compiled, the shadow ha-satan (neutral devil) went beyond its original nature, turning into Satan, the opponent of God. A century later, in the Book of Jubilees (commonly referred to as lesser Genesis ) God is replaced by the separated shadow in the form of Mastema, lord of evil spirits. Now he is the one taking credit for the phenomena of negative nature, that used to be phenomena performed by God. The separation is complete.
Legend II:One of the most influential theologists of the early Greek church Origines from Alexandria believed that God created several celestial deities equivalent to himself. Because of free will, they decided to part ways with God, thus straying away from the Source (a celestial cosmic hierarchy where God is the center, and the celestial deities ranks are based on the distance between the deity and the systems core: the Source). Some stayed in the ethereal regions around God, while those strayed away fell to a lower atmospheric level. All these ethereal beings are angels, but those who strayed away from the Source became human and lost their immortality and supreme celestial intelligence. Some however, continued their evil acts, changing them into demons with cold dark bodies. These deities ended up in regions where they were nothing, and served nothing. This is a cosmological system where those of less perfect nature manifests in the visible bodies of the world. The higher beings shine with the brightness of celestial bodies, serving as cloaks for Gods angels.
Legend III:According to Henoch the scribe, two-hundred bene ha Elohim (guards or sons of God) that went down on mount Hermon twelve-thousand years ago were archangels, assisting in the creation of the paradise. At the same time, they taught humans their ways. The problem is that angels are likely to be tempted; Especially by Adams daughters; The daughters of Kaïn. Angels of fire turned into flesh as soon as contact with earth was made. These angels belonged to the tenth order of angels, known as the giant Grigori. While angels are of no gender and are not able to breed due to their ethereal nature, the Grigori were physically able to do so. This phenomenon is a sin, and as soon as this occurs, they will be manifested in flesh. So the sons of God share the bed with mortal beings, and also reveal the secrets of the celestial empire, like how to make iron weapons, or how to produce perfume and cosmetics, making the women even more desirable. Its a bit humorous to look at it this way, but I suppose you could say our modern society of models, fashion, perfume, lust and more of this whoredom is pure blasphemy. Anyway
Regardless of the Grigoris good intentions, they put monsters in the world. The Lord banished the angels to the everlasting Hell. Somehow they managed to stray away from the desire of mortal flesh though.
Legend IV:Henoch gives a rather contradicting alternative of the fall in his second chronicle. In the Book of Secrets he describes how a member of the order of angels who disrespected the orders underneath him got the impossible idea of placing his throne higher than the clouds above earth.
In the New Testament, Jesus sees how Satan, a son of God descends to Earth like a lighting bolt. Lucifers other title, Morningstar refers to the star that announces the sunrise. This story is derived from an even older legend of Sjaher. This Kanaänic deity is like Lucifer, and is also called the Morningstar. He tried to take over the throne of Light, but was banished from heaven. This story is part of a Kanaänic writing that was written seven-hundred years before Christ. Five centuries later, a Hebrew scribe copied it almost literally, but borrowed the words to lay in the prophet Jesajas mouth. There are several versions of this story, but they all have something in common: the fall caused by pride.
Legend V:God created the angels and gave them free will, but he was afraid they would use this for potential sinful behaviour, and would practice this as soon as they could. So he created a second group, denied from his mercy, and allowed them to sin freely. The two groups eventually found themselves to be in a war with each other. Michaël, one of Gods most powerful angels was able to banish these sinful legions from heaven. It was a great battle in heaven. Satans hordes would still rather fight to try to reach an unachievable goal, than to contemplate the Light. This means theyre either dumb, proud, stubborn or brave to follow the misguiding light within them.
Legend VI:The Devil and his multitudes have more love for themselves than for God, and the Devil nourishes obsessive hatred against humanity and tempted Chavvah, which he is cursed for by God. The real downfall of the dark powers occurs with the birth and suffering of the Lamb, though. Until then, God gave the Devil and his legions the power to seduce mankind, to test and eventually punish them. God manifests in flesh (Jesus Christ) to experience our suffering caused by the Devil. He gave himself to Lucifer, and as hateful as he was against Adams children, he accepted it. What Satan didnt see when he accepted this prey though, is Christs divine and pious nature. Satan broke the rules and his contract with God, as he was only given the authority to punish those of sinful nature. Because of the failed seduction of Christ, the second Adam, Satan was confused and was uncertain whether or not Christ was divine. The Devil and his demons are portrayed here as a bunch of fools that cant decide whether or not they should kill Christ. As soon as Satan wants to take Christ (a manifestation in flesh)s soul, he encounters God.
Legend VII:When Adam was introduced to the hierarchies by God, Satan - who at the time was the greatest seraph and ruler of the heavens - refused to bow down for this new creation. How can a son of fire bow for a son of clay? he said. The Creator didnt appreciate this criticism on his work, and threw Satan in the abyss, and a third of the angels chose to follow Satan.
The Sufi-movement speaks of a different version of the story, and this is perhaps the most fascinating story as it portrays God as a deity without mercy and understanding. In this story, Satan is Gods favorite angel. God told his angels not to bow down for anyone but Himself. Later he created Adam, whom he raised above the angels. He commanded the angels to forget about his first command, and to bow down for Adam, the first human. Satan refused to bow down, because he was loyal to Gods original command, and he did not want to bow down for anyone but his beloved God. God did not understand Satans act and threw him out of heaven. The greatest burden for Satan was to live in the hell without the presence of his beloved God. All that remains is the echo of Gods last words of anger. Satan despises man, as he is jealous about the fact that man is Gods new object of attention, and he whom replaced Satan.
